Valluvar Kottam is a fashionable monument in Chennai, India which is dedicated to the classical Tamil poet, philosopher and saint . Valluvar Kottam is an auditorium, with a capacity to hold 4,000 people, It was built by M. Karunanidhi, the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Verses of the poet Tiruvalluvar are decorated on the pillars around the auditorium and a major draw here is the 101-feet high temple chariot structure, which attracts many tourists. This auditorium and the Chariot structure are the living symbols of cultural, societal and artistic heritage of Tamilnadu.

Arignar Anna Zoological Park is one of the modern and scientifically managed zoos of the Country. It is founded in 1855, the park was the first public zoo in India. Modern Zoological Park was established in 1979 by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. Spread over 510 ha. of dry evergreen forests .The Zoological Park is the arrogance of the State and has attained excellence in the Captive Breeding Programmed for endangered species and in the field of zoo education and creating awareness about the conservation of natural resources.
